Perfectly located for visiting the First Mountain

Positiv: Lovely clean, quiet and spacious apartment, and perfectly located to walk around the corner to catch the cable cars to get up to the First Mountain, for hiking, biking, zip wiring, and more!

Negativ: It would have been nice to have had more towels in the bathroom.

Beautiful apartment with an amazing view!

Positiv: Beautiful, comfortable apartment perfect for a couple looking to enjoy Grindlewald and the surroundings. The view from the outdoor patio area was stunning - it took our breath away each morning! The apartment was spacious and had everything we could need.

Negativ: The parking space was quite a squeeze and you'd certainly struggle to park a larger SUV, however, we found with the excellent local public transport we didn't need our car for the entire stay. The wifi signal could be a bit stronger.

Lovely 9 day holiday in Grindelwald, would love to return soon.

Positiv: Lovely views of the Eiger, spacious and comfortable. The apartment is close to Grindelwald and the bus stop is a short walk away with easy access to the train station.

Negativ: Overlooked by a number of apartments at the side.

Very comfortable stay and we enjoyed our time here.

Perfect Holiday Home

Positiv: It was spacious and quiet. Perfect location. A minute walk from Grindlewald First.

A beautiful place to stay - let down by the beds!

Positiv: Lovely apartment in a quiet location but still central to the town. The facilities were very good and we felt very much at home and enjoyed sitting out on the patio gazing at the spectacular view of the mountains!

Negativ: The beds were terrible - two narrow singles with foam mattresses that could not be pushed together and so consequently left a large gap. The pillows did not help! We liked that there was a laundry, but there wasn’t even a small amount of washing powder provided, which meant a trip to the shops to buy a whole box for one load! There was a long list of rules to be checked off before check-out - we were instructed to strip the beds! Really? What are we paying for here? And finding the place to deposit the rubbish would not have been possible if my husband had not met a helpful neighbour at the right time.

Our apartment was lovely, spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable.

Positiv: The location of the apartment is perfect. It is large and comfortable and well thought out. The patio was beyond our expectations with amazing views and comfortable furniture. It was more fun to cook in the apartment and dine on the patio than going to the restaurants. We truly loved every minute of our stay and would happily book again.

Negativ: The staff was incredibly nice with the exception of one very snarky lady who didn't want to give us a second set of keys and told us we didn't need a fan despite a warm spell. Luckily there was another very nice person who made us feel very welcome. Happily, the mean person ignored us when we returned the keys so we interacted with the other lovely people in the office. Just a reminder that it doesn't take much to sour someone's impression.

Very comfortable apartment with beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.

Positiv: Quiet location, but still close to the town and transport links. Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful views. Spacious apartment.

Negativ: We were there 12 days, we had to request fresh towels, bedclothes were not changed, no cleaning carried out. They should give an option of either paying for cleaning service or leave sufficient equipment to enable us to carry out what I would consider necessary cleaning e.g. toilets, sinks etc. It is the second time we have stayed at this apartment and the previous time it was cleaned, towels and bedding were changed, so we did not think to ask if this arrangement had changed. The lift to take the car to the underground parking did not work on one day, so had to delay the start to our outing. This also happened the last time we visited.

Positiv: Très bel appartement, bien situé, bien équipé, literie confortable

Negativ: Place de parking souterrain inutilisable car trop petite. J'ai eu un parking extérieur, mais avec une électrique ce n'est pas idéal lorsqu'il gèle.

Peaceful mornings having breakfast on the private patio while hearing gentle cow bells in the distance.

Positiv: It was convenient to First gondola, train, grocery store and restaurants. Every evening after dinner we would choose a different path to explore the incredible views of Grindelwald.

Negativ: I wasn’t sure where to put the trash at the end of our stay so better direction for that would be helpful.
