Positiv: Peaceful location and stunning views. We also sincerely appreciated the assistance from the owners daughter when our uber didn't turn up.
Negativ: Difficulty in getting to and from the property as it was quite isolated and we didn't have a car. Low ceiling heights and a hopelessly unworkable main bedroom, as there was no space for a bedside table or light. Getting in and out of the bed from the bottom was very impractical.

Lovely place!
Positiv: When you want to rest and view one of the most famous mountains, here is the place for you. The location is outside the city, quiet, calm, and has very kind owners. There is fully equipped kitchen, wifi, TV with some apps, a lot of games for the children, beautiful neighborhood, with friendly dogs and cats, a lot of goats, cows and even wild mountain goats.
Negativ: For some maybe too far from the city and the height of the rooms is a bit too low for me.

Great accommodation and places to feel Switzerland
Positiv: The cost of living in Switzerland is murderous, so it was burdensome even though the accommodation conditions were relatively cheap. However, the house is in an excellent location in Greendelwald, so the satisfaction of the surrounding scenery was the best. The owner was kind, his daughter gave him a word of help, and his beautiful granddaughter welcomed him, so it was a more friendly and good time.
Negativ: The path taught by Google Maps sometimes leads to the wrong route and is embarrassing. But it's worth overcoming. In winter, the road will be slippery, so I think you will need a 4WD car

It was a hard walk, but we loved it.
Positiv: Bought our own breakfast. We were very happy when she provided us with milk for the coffee, since we forgot to buy it in the town.
Negativ: I did not expect how hard the the climb was from the town. Very uphill, but we made it.

Peaceful and quiet location perfect for a relaxing stay close to nature.
Positiv: The location was very pretty with a lovely view of the mountains and the town below.

Incredible views in a quiet side of the mountain
Positiv: Staying just outside of town meant the views from our windows were incredible!! This does mean you have a steep 20 min walk to the bus or train, but we figured the exercise meant we could eat more Swiss chocolate haha! It has all the basic things you need for a cosy stay, it was very relaxing. The kids loved their bedroom! Diana was very friendly and helpful. We loved the walk from the restaurant near Brandegg train station down to the house, it was beautiful!
Negativ: My husband hit his head a few times on the doorway haha (it might be uncomfortable for anyone taller than 180cm). There were no flyscreens on the windows and sadly the flies were bad (from the rural area) that we had to keep the windows shut, but the view made up for it!

Incredible views of the Eiger, would definitely come again.
Positiv: Excellent location and incredible views. Very lovely and cosy lodge which was a great size.
Negativ: You definitely need a car to get around as it is a long walk to Grindelwald centre (and back up a very steep hill for around 40 minutes).

Positiv: We had a very pleasant stay. House is old but the apartment had all the essentials (equipped kitchen, wifi OK, barbecue, large TV, fireplace), and the views are just amazing. Really nice place to have outdoor dinner when the weather is good. Hosts are very friendly and helpful.
Negativ: Ceiling is quite low and I hit my head many times. Note that I am just 1.80cm, so taller people should watch out.
