Schöner Kurzurlaub in Lauterbrunnen

Positiv: Die Wohnung war perfekt für ein verlängertes WE in Lauterbrunnen und Umgebung. Alles was wir gebraucht haben war vorhanden. Wir waren 5 Personen und hatte ein grosses Extrabett auf der Gallerie, viel besser als der übliche Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer. Die Wohnung hatte auch zwei WC mit Bad/Duschmöglichkeit, was sehr praktisch war.

Negativ: Morgens gab es überraschend viel Verkehr und Lärm von der Strasse. Mit den Fenstern zu war dies aber weniger ein Problem.

Positiv: Very convenient location, especially for families with children: just a few minutes’ walk along the river there’s a farm with llamas and a fantastic café with the best view of the waterfall and plenty of activities for kids — a ramp for bikes and scooters, two trampolines, an absolute fairy tale. there is a playground 3 min walk.You can reach the supermarket in a couple of bus stops, but I preferred to walk. The bus stop is right outside the door.

Negativ: You will be staying in a shared house in separate apartments on the top floor. The staircase is quite steep, so carrying large suitcases is not very convenient. The windows face the road, so you can hear some traffic during the day, but it’s not too loud. There is a view of the valley from the balcony, but it’s largely blocked by the next house.

Positiv: Loved this place! It’s conveniently located right at a bus stop so it’s easy to bring luggage, but it’s only a short 15-20 min walk to the station. The flat itself is very clean, spacious and comfortable, and has gorgeous views of the cliffs and valley. It was perfect to return to after a day of adventuring!

Negativ: No lift so we had to carry our baggage up the stairs, but that’s only to be expected in buildings like this! The kitchen is well-stocked but some items are nearing their expiry date, and the flat gets a little warm in the summer but there are 2 fans provided. There were no instructions for recycling.

Lovely apartment , great location . Wish we could have stayed a bit longer

Positiv: Location , cleanliness , availability of washer and dryer very helpful . Host extremely responsive to questions and gave very clear and detailed instructions on his apartment which was very useful.

Negativ: A bit of extra decor to lift the mood of apartment a bit , make it more cosy

Beautiful stay in a lovely location

Positiv: The location is brilliant. When you see how overcrowded with tourists Lauterbrunnen is you are delighted to be staying away from it and close to a very nice little shop and bistro where we had dinner two nights running. It was quiet and comfortable and had a bus stop right outside the door.

Truly amazing!!!

Positiv: This is a very nice place with all the items needed for cooking. The beds were comfortable and the area was nice and quiet. The location was great and the views amazing. It was extremely clean and having a washer and dryer was really nice. The balcony has amazing views. I love this place!

Chris is a wonderful host, his room is also wonderful.

Positiv: Coziest apartment I’ve ever rented, cute loft with 2 bathrooms. Particularly like the background ambient color of the Led TV in the living room. Washer and dryer are helpful for a long trip with the detergent provided. Free parking spot.

Negativ: Stairs

The four of us enjoyed our stay. Parking is a plus and the view is jaw-dropping.

Positiv: The host made the use of this apartment easy and straightforward. Nice to have a washer/dryer at the midpoint of our trip. The apartment was comfortable and located within walking distance of a restaurant and other attractions. Views are amazing. A bus stop is nearby.

Negativ: No complaints.

Positiv: Clean, great location and plenty of room with well stocked kitchen. Nice balcony.

If you wish to relax, enjoy scenic walks facing nice mountain view - this is the place to be.

Positiv: Location, apartment size, facilities, host, everything about the apartment was good.
