Lauterbrunnen Central 2

Positiv: We have enjoyed our stay very much. The walking distance to the train or the cable car as well to the shop was excellent. The apartment was very comfortable and fully equipped with everything we needed.

Positiv: Spacious lounge.Clean and tidy.Close to train station.

Negativ: Bedrooms a bit small

Positiv: Beautiful apartment, exceptionally clean. Bathroom was beautiful. Only thing I would add would be a carving knife to cut the lovely fresh bread sold locally. Air conditioning would be nice as it's quite noisy to have the windows open.

Negativ: Can be a little noisy, woken one night by workers on the railway. It was very hot and we had to have the windows open

Excellent base for visiting the area

Positiv: Centrally located just opposite the train station (it is actually above the info centre). Well equipped with utensils. Large bathroom, very comfortable bed.

Fantastic - If it is available, Grab it!

Positiv: Firstly, the listing wrongly says it is a 1 bedroom apartment - it's actually 2 bedrooms! Such a lovely apartment, so conveniently located close to the train station. Fully functional kitchen, spacious living/dining area, a balcony overlooking the main street of the town. While the check in (4pm) and check out (10am) times are a bit tight, there is a storage room in the ground floor so we could leave out bags and continue with our sightseeing activities. The manager Christoph speaks great English, which helped, and is very prompt, and available on whatsapp. Highly recommend, and we would certainly stay here again if we visit Lauterbrunnen.

Prettig verblijf met gunstige locatie t.o.v. station

Positiv: Locatie is prima: dichtbij het station, vanwaaruit je gemakkelijk met de Jungfrau pas het gebied kunt ontdekken. Supermarkt (Coöp) dichtbij.

Negativ: De keuken uitrusting kan wat completer gezien het ontbreken van o.a. waterkoker en broodmes. De ledikanten beslaan 90 % van de slaapkamer met als consequentie weinig loopruimte in de slaapkamers. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is niet helemaal in balans gezien de hoogte van de huurprijs.

Great location for a bland, pricey, fairly large apartment

Positiv: The bathroom space and shower were great. Nice large LR and kitchen. The location was perfect. 3 minutes from the train station,. Only one flight of stairs to deal with.

Negativ: Well, it's charmless. Recently renovated and furnished very blandly. No art. Beds are fine, but too large for the BRs. You can't walk on both sides of the bed at the same time, so you are crawling in. No one has ever lived here, so small things are missing. No microwave or kettle (Couldn't figure out why the previous people had used a sauce pan and nothing else! It was to heat water in the morning.) VERY low ceilings. About 6 1/2 feet. If you are over 6 feet tall, be prepared to bump your head on the beam between the kitchen and LR. I'm 5'8\

Lovely place in a beautiful part of Switzerland!

Positiv: Very clean apartment! We loved having an open kitchen and living room. The host brought us a crib and highchair for our 18-month-old daughter!

Negativ: The location was on the main street, which was nice since we only had to walk two minutes from the train station. However, it was very loud at night (with the windows open) and hard to get a good nights rest.

Wonderful stay at a great location very close to COOP, train station and restaurants.

Positiv: The owner/manager sent an email with detailed information about how to get the key, and some other info which was very helpful.

Negativ: No parking - We had to park in the nearby train station’s parking for CHF16/day. It was very close to the apt but a little bit hard with luggages.

Positiv: Amazing location, so close to the train station. You can see the beautiful iconic waterfall from just a few steps outside the apartment. Great communicated from the host with very clear instructions. We loved having this as a home base for so many great adventures nearby.

Negativ: It was warmer they were used to, but we did get a nice breeze by opening the windows. I wish it had a washer for our clothes.
