Schöne, saubere Ferienwohnung an einem aussergewöhnlichen Ort mit freundlichem Gastgeber.

Positiv: Schöne Ferienwohnung mit Liebe zum Detail und herrlichem Ausblick. Die Wohnung ist sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Gastgeber ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Negativ: Die Anreise erfolgt mit der Bahn, da Wengen autofrei ist. Der kurze Fussweg von der Haltestation Wengenwald zur Unterkunft ist gut machbar, sollte jedoch berücksichtigt werden. Der Gastgeber hat uns im Voraus gut informiert.

Positiv: Wunderschöne Lage und ein herrlicher Blick auf die Berge! Ein wirklich zuvorkommender und freundlicher Gastgeber, der auch noch leckeren Käse macht.

Stunning place with best view in Wengen

Positiv: Spectacular views! The host and his dog Charlie were extremely welcoming and made the stay amazing. Away from town centre so you have a place full for yourself to enjoy!

A Wonderful Festive Stay

Positiv: Truly wonderful experience staying here. The owner of the chalet, Peter, met us at the local train station (Wengwald) when we arrived and helped us with our bags and showed us to the property. He was great throughout our stay. The Chalet was impressively equipped, comfortable and the views are phenomenal. Would definitely like to come back one day!

Negativ: Nothing! Just to note, there is no internet but this is clear in the description on booking.com and the signal in the area is good, so we just used our own data and all was fine.

Incredible location. Stunning views. Peaceful and perfect.

Positiv: The photos and description do not do justice to this absolute gem of a property! We were after a quaint, quiet little get away spot with amazing views that was accessible without a car and a base from which to explore the region...so this was perfect for us. The property is a 10 minute walk from Wengwald train station. We travel light and are pretty physically able so this was no issue for us, but might be something to consider for those with mobility considerations. The directions for finding the property were clear enough. Inside the property was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay, including a washing machine and anything we needed to cook meals. Peter was an excellent host. He was friendly and helpful, and also gave us plenty of space. Do yourself a favour and take make use of the hot tub. The extra cost is well worth it.

Location out of this world

Positiv: The location really is second to none. Be aware there is no car access. The train up makes it so special.

Negativ: Nothing. Could have had more comms about hot tub. We were left to find stuff ourselves on third day. And it's chargeable so expected a bit more. Very minor gripe as everything was so great

Positiv: The view was incredible. It was a very relaxing stay and made a great base camp for day trips.

Negativ: The directions to get there could have been more clear. A couple pictures from the train station would have helped a ton.

Positiv: Amazing views with a great decking area to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Very well equipped apartment.
