FeWo Traum in Wengen

Positiv: Eine wirklich schöne Ferienwohnung mit herrlichem Blick in die Berge. Der Balkon bietet viel Platz, aber auch das schöne Wohnzimmer ist perfekt an Regentagen. Alle Zimmer gemütlich und die Bäder sauber. Die Küche klein, aber toll ausgestattet mit viel Geschirr und Besteck. Pfannen und Töpfe sind halt immer nicht so toll in FeWos, war aber kein Problem. Diese Wohnung würde ich jedem empfehlen der Wengen und Umgebung erkunden will. Wir haben super geschlafen in den gemütlichen Betten.

Positiv: Our family of 5 stayed here for 3 weeks in February-March. The rental company was very pleasant, the location was uphill (as everything is in Wengen) but gave easy access to town and local hiking paths. We were able to store our skis at the rental company in town and used either the gondola or the train daily. It was the perfect spot for a family getaway. The flat itself is not fancy, but it's roomy and well supplied. The view and porch cannot be beat.

Negativ: A drying rack would be nice to have. We made a clothesline ourselves on the porch.

Overall, a beautiful apartment with stunning views that made our stay unforgettable

Positiv: The apartment was very comfortable and actually looked even better than the photos. The spacious balcony was a highlight, offering breathtaking views that we could never get enough of. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, and as a nice bonus, they even provided a portable speaker so we could enjoy some music during our stay.

Negativ: The apartment is fantastic and comfortable, and in a great location. Just a heads-up on two minor points: the garbage disposal instructions were a bit confusing, as the indicated glass container wasn’t there. I called and learned it was in a different location now. Also, reaching the property involves a final uphill stretch, so it’s good to be aware if you’re walking with luggage.

Good Location, Great Views

Positiv: This apartment is well-located for Wengen, about 1/3 of a mile from the train station, with good access to everything in town, but located in a residential area. The house is well furnished, with two shared bathrooms, a galley kitchen, and a combined dining/living area. There is also a great balcony of the back of the house with super views of the mountains. The management company did a great job of communicating and prepping us, and also was very responsive to an issue we had with the refrigerator, which stopped working just after we arrived. Even on the weekend they arranged for a portable unit for us, to keep our recently purchased food from spoiling. I’d rent here again if we came back to Wengen.

Negativ: The apartment is in a shared building, and that meant we did have some neighborhood sounds, including patio conversation from one of the other residences, plus some loud children on a couple of nicer evenings that was a bit disruptive to contemplating the scenery, but overall we found this apartment worked well for us.

Negativ: Trying to take trash out and not finding facilities

Great location for Jungfrau region adventures

Positiv: Great inside layout. Has its own washing machine. Great deck with a fantastic view. Easy walk to grocery store and the train station. Plenty of kitchen tools and appliances, nice TV with great cable tv service. We were NOT there during ski season so can't address access to the unit in the snow

Negativ: Ended up arriving late, after dark. Sort of hard to find in the dark. Final part of the path to the unit is a steep uphill bit, but not too long.

Positiv: Location, views, comfortable, helpful and friendly reservation staff

Negativ: Check out requirement to haul trash and recyclables into village. Damage deposit and check in procedure more tedious than most places we stayed.
