Chalet Acheregg

Very nice apartment, location, host and facilities. Would definitely stay again.

Positiv: Thoughtfully-equipped facilities - for example, walking poles, umbrellas, a ski locker with boot-drying heaters near the station + well-equipped kitchenette (oven + induction hob, Nespresso machine etc.) and good size dining area. Spotlessly clean. Very nice host who communicated efficiently and pleasantly with us both before our arrival (via Booking.com messaging) and during our stay. Good location not too far from the Coop for grocery shopping. Fantastic view of the Lauterbrunnen valley from front the garden.

Negativ: If the kitchen had been a bit bigger a microwave oven would have been useful, for those quick, lazy meals! The location is great, but the chalet is down a steep hill from the town centre, so if you have mobility issues, then the walk back up the hill might prove difficult.

Positiv: It was an excellent experience. My girlfriend and I went for the first time to Wegen and we loved it. The view was amazing and Karin was so nice. She explained us everything we needed and gave us the schedule activities for the week. She was always there for any help. The internet was good, we were able to work and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking.

Positiv: It was an amazing property which had every amenity we could think of catered for.

Positiv: Loved everything! Fantastic hosts, large and immaculately clean apartment with everything you could possibly need, and the absolutely amazing view! Wengen is the perfect location as a base for the region.

Negativ: We loved everything, but people with mobility issues may struggle to stay anywhere in Wengen as it's quite hilly.

Positiv: the host karin was very friendly, she welcomed us very nicely and always inquire if we need something. perfect view from the chalet. well maintained garden and the chalet was very well equipped to cook our own food.

Belle vue mais beaucoup de côtes !

Positiv: Cuisine assez complète mais il manquait un micro-ondes. Propre et beau. Très belle vue.

Negativ: Nous aurions aimé qu’il soit mentionné dans l’annonce que le chalet était plus bas dans la montagne. Donc à chaque fois qu’on en sort il faut monter plusieurs côtes assez à pic pour aller au train. Pour les personnes âgées ou avec des problèmes de genou, c’est loin d’être l’idéal. Et au départ il faut remonter ces côtes avec les valises !

Positiv: Very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, bowls, utensils, pans, pots, etc. The views are amazing and probably one of our favorite lodging in all of Europe! Host was helpful and worked with us to ensure a good stay.
