Studio in Zermatt mit toller Aussicht aufs Dorf

Positiv: Es war toll. Das Einzige: ein Anruf wäre einfacher gewesen. Heute wolle ja alle mit niemandem nichts mehr zu tun haben, aber schlussendlich bedeutet Gastgeber zu sein ja auch etwas.

Negativ: Stairs to get to the building are a real pain, but worth it for the view.

Positiv: The appartement was very nicely equipped and quite big. The view to the village was very beautiful.

Negativ: The check out was early and we were not allowed to store our suitcases in the apartment. Given that it was Sunday, everything was closed and finding storage was complicated during this busy period. Therefore, we had to leave Zermatt a lot earlier than initially planned.

Positiv: Stunning view as well as great facilities and location (despite all the stairs, they’re worth it for the view). This apartment now holds a special place in our heart, you’ll see what I mean in the pictures.

Positiv: Keys were in the lockbox at the entrance - accessible anytime (we've arrived a bit late).

We loved the location (and all the exercise we got walking to and from town)

Positiv: Location was beautiful and in the town. Home was comfortable and stocked with tea.

Negativ: Probably should include in description about the long set stairs to get to the apartment.

Overall, great service, space, and location with fantastic views of the Zermatt!

Positiv: We stayed for 3 nights over New Years (2024) along our 8-day trip through Switzerland. Manuela was very responsive, helpful, and accommodating throughout the process, particularly when we ended up having to add an additional day to our original booking. The property is a relatively quick walk (~10-12 minutes) from the main Zermatt train station. Yes, there are quite a few stairs, but there is also a fantastic view from the balcony of the entire town. You can't actually see the Matterhorn, but the view of fireworks across the entire town were fantastic New Years Eve! The apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The heated floors near the front door were a nice bonus following a shower.

Negativ: The stairs weren't my favorite, particularly after a long day of snowboarding and exploring the town; but suck it up, the views are great and think of the extra calories you're burning! The hallway / stairwell lights in the building are on timers and it can be quite dark in the morning and evening; we found there are a couple push switches located on 1st and bottom floors, but we didn't see one on the 2nd floor where the apartment is located; we ended up just using the lights from our smart phones, but having an additional switch or motion sensors in the hallway / stairwell to trigger the lights would be very helpful.

Positiv: A lovely apartment with pleasant views from the balcony. Very well maintained with new fittings

Negativ: Difficult to locate from instructions and a very steep climb to apartment with heavy luggage. actually near to the station but the climb with luggage was a challenge
