Triftbach - View over Zermatt

Angenehm und super organisiert.

Positiv: Sauberes Bad, sauberes Zimmer, Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher war auch da. Badezimmer war mit Duschgel und Shampoo ausgestattet. Meine Buchung war ziemlich spontan daher bin ich froh eine Unterkunft für eine Nacht gehabt zu haben. Sie waren auch zuvorkommend dass ich etwas später aus checken durfte da mein Wanderrucksack sehr schwer war. War sehr froh dass ich mein schweren Rucksack kostenlos dort noch lassen durfte.

Negativ: Keine Handseife im Badezimmer

Positiv: Die Sicht vom Balkon ist genial. Zimmerausstattung wie beschrieben und auf Bildern. Gute Beschreibung zum Check In, welches unklompliziert ablief. Netter Kontakt. In Gehdistanz vom Bahnhof.

Negativ: Wohnung ist mit einer verschlossenen Türe verbunden mit einer anderen Wohneinheit. Hat uns nicht weiter gestört, aber duch die quasi normale Zimmertüre hört man die Nachbarn ungefiltert und sieht den Lichtkegel der anderen Bewohner in der Nacht. Fühlt sich nicht ganz so privat an wie erwartet, aber wenn man das weiss alles tiptop.

Great view over Zermatt!!!!

Positiv: Great communication with host and detailed instructions. Modern room. With good closet for cloth storage. Above Zermatt, great view, super central, accessible via Omnia hotel lift. Very nice balcony, small fridge available.

Negativ: As in many reviews, the bed is really low, like a Japanese bed, with a wooden frame that is super loud when you turn during the night. Soft mattress. Would be great to have two more pillows as many guests sleep with two.

Good location, out of the way but not too far, nice views

Positiv: The property was in a good location, and the elevator was lifesaving. The room was nice, and there were good views. The only thing to note is that the bed is on the floor, so if you have mobility issues, that may be worth considering. The mini fridge was broken and didn't work, but I was there in October so I could keep my food on the balcony, and the temps outside functioned just as well as a fridge. I would stay here again.

Great location & views.

Positiv: Very close to the town centre, great views over Zermatt. The check in and out procedures were easy to follow and we got detailed instructions in advance.

Negativ: Switzerland is an expensive country to visit.

Positiv: Incredible view, super close to the city main streets. Clean and quiet

Positiv: The room was cute and cosy and easily accessible from the main town. Check in instructions were also very clear and easy. Balcony also had a great view.

Negativ: No soap in the bathroom (both handwash and bodysoap). Room got very hot at night with no air-conditioning however it was very cold outside so couldn't open windows.

A rare budget gemstone in pricey Zermatt

Positiv: The fantastically scenic view at the balcony over the town (as shown in the photo), and the price was quite nice. The close proximity to the train station.

Lovely room for a short stay in a residential building.

Positiv: The room itself was lovely. Compact, perfect for 2 people. Neat clean, probably recently renovated and well maintained, the bathroom especially was lovely. The view was lovely too. Also, the lift going up to the place was a life saver. I think if it hadn't been there I would have not been ok with the location at all because the climb was a bit much. The response from the team was good too. I booked a few hours before I was to reach and they sent me the password for the lift etc. I also had another small issue relating to finding the place which also was solved quickly and efficiently over a call.

Negativ: There could have been better signage. There's just 1 board pointing in a particular direction and nothing after that. I called out to the building to ask if this was the place, a resident answered that this was the building but I needed to figure out my room which I just couldn't. I wasn't told what room. It's essentially a residential building, so after going up and down twice, I had to call them to find the room. The response was prompt and clear. But if there was just some signage, It would have been smoother to start with. Might have been nice to have some tea bags or instant coffee to go with the kettle.
