Absolutely wonderful views

Positiv: Wonderful views, apartment is in the heavenly Gimmelwald, most authentic village in switzerland, its a farm village, my kids enjoyed every bit of this village. Apartment is absolutely perfect, just next to cable car station, very beautiful and clean apartment, apartment have all the needed facilities like kitchen etc. They have also honesty shop for ice cream, i can even visit again just to eat the ice cream, best in the world so far. Host is very welcoming and nice. I will definitely return to this place again.

Positiv: Convenient location, comfortable beds and astonishing view from the windows. The personal was very friendly and let us check in earlier.

Positiv: This beautiful guest house was the best place to stay for the Switzerland trip. The apartment we got was beautiful with so beautiful views, balcony, amazing rooms and spacious well equipped kitchen. we were lucky to get this place to stay for our trip to Switzerland. people don't get the booking to stay here. we loved the beautiful village. everyone here was so welcoming. loved our stay here.

Negativ: Everything was really good about this place except the sewage smell in the washroom. It was on and off thing.

Wonderful place to stay in the Swiss Alps

Positiv: Amazing location and very clean and quaint. The room was lovely and had beautiful views.

Positiv: Clean and attractive. Friendly staff. Very close to the cable car station. Nice breakfast. Outstanding views across the valley from my loft room.

Negativ: The loft rooms are a bit tricky regarding head clearance, but I never hit the beams! Also, can get warm at nights; like most Swiss facilities, there is no air conditioning.

Excellent place and hosts

Positiv: Hosts were very polite and helpful. We had issues with our booking at another hotel, so this booking was done by BOOKING.COM. The hosts Tobias was kind enough to accommodate at the last minute. He prepared the apartment and was ready in an hour. Since we arrived late, Tobias has even provided groceries for late quick meals. The apartment was clean , nice and had all the amenities. The view from bedroom was snow clad mountains.

Positiv: Gimmelwald feels like a magical fairytale! Our stay here was wonderful. If you want a quiet location to rest and have amazing views, this is the place! The shared bathroom was of no concern, you only share with one other room and there was never a conflict with using it. Gimmelwald in general took a little longer to get to our hikes and what we wanted to do each day, but that is part of staying in a village that is car free that you can only get to via cable car. I would still stay here again, despite it being out of the way.
