A great location if your goal is skiing and spending time with your travel companions.

Positiv: We had a wonderful holiday at Chalet Zwächta. The chalet is very comfortable, clean, warm, and equipped with almost everything one can wish for. Roland, our host, was kind enough to even buy a baby chair for us! The chalet is very cosy and the pictures currently posted for the property do not do it justice, as they give the feeling of a darker and more basic place. The host helped us carry our luggage from / to the Furi cable car station with a motorized tracked wheelbarrow both at arrival and at departure.

Negativ: What is not aparent when booking the chalet is that it is not only 400m away from the Furi cable car station, but also 50m lower. It is only reachable either on the ski piste or on a footpath, which was extremely slippery during our stay. We traveled with a baby and my wife found the footpath too slippery for her to dare to go with our daughter in the backpack to the restaurants up or down the path, which meant that she was blocked around the chalet on the days when she was babysitting. The location up on the ski piste also means that shopping requires its own trip to the village - not a problem in itself but something to be considered and planned in advance.
