Positiv: The location, the cottage vibes, the decor and the view were absolutely perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better place to base myself to explore the area for a few days.

Negativ: The light in the hallway is motion-activated and when leaving the unit, it does not turn on until you're halfway down the hall, so needed to use my phone torch to lock the door. Literally my only piece of feedback.

Great location, balcony and view

Positiv: The apartment was in a fabulous location - opposite Schlosspark where can watch hang gliders, near restaurants, main shopping street and 350m to supermarket. 600m from Interlaken west train station. Not far from old town either. The apartment is a good size, very comfortable and clean. Loved the balcony and the view.

Negativ: Check-in instructions were not clear and you must contact the key holder directly, not booking.com. The key holder does not reach out to you at all. You have the contact him and then we had to then message via WhatsApp to get the online instructions. Was a waste of our time and was frustrating. Don’t use the QR code in the entrance to contact the apartment as this person had not worked for them for over a year! No other apartments have been this difficult and have always reached out to us directly well in advance. The instructions in the apartment could be more welcoming and friendly. Please note you have to strip the beds, put away all dishes and take out the rubbish. We were only provided with one roll of toilet paper for three nights. The shower is over the bath and is hard to get into and the bath drains slowly. There is no plug for the kitchen sink. We were not given or told about the Interlaken welcome card which all visitors should receive. Disappointing! You cannot leave your luggage either. A lot of faults that need to be addressed to make this a better stay.
