Positiv: Tolle Lage, ein wunderschöner Blick vom Balkon. Gute Ausstattung inklusive Waschmaschine. Unkomplizierter Checkin/-out.

Negativ: (Zu ) Viele Deko-Gegenstände in der Wohnung, die es schwer machen, eigenes Gepäck zu organisieren.

Positiv: Einfach alles Von der herzlichen Gastgeberin bis zur phantastischen Aussicht Die KüchenAusstattung war vollumfänglich Es hat einfach alles unsere Erwartungen übertroffen

Negativ: Nichts

A view to die for!

Positiv: The view is absolutely amazing! Jungfrau range was smack in front. Others had to stop by to get a photoshot viewpoint . Location is about 5 mins from the Wengen train station. Immaculate chalet, clean and very tastefully decorated. However, the red color bedspread can be rather overwhelming! I was initially concerned about the train running so close and the possible noise. Not at all! It just creates a beautiful atmosphere, and you just get used to it. The kitchen is filled up with basics and lots of leftover from previous boarders. Even had spaghetti! The host, Clare, was very helpful and welcoming. She even handed some hayfever tablets as pollen count was high during summer. Interaction was prompt. Would highly recommend this unit and hope to get this place again when I visit again next.

Negativ: Everything was excellent. However, when entering the chalet itself, I wasn't aware there's 2 more flights of stairs to go before we could reach flat #1. With 2x20kg luggage after finishing a tour of Switzerland, this can ve challenging. Do note that there's a steep downhill path to the chalet, which can be very challenging when you checkout! Going uphill this round.

Amazing stay in this apartment!

A beautiful apartment in a lovely location, with stunning views from the balcony.

Positiv: From the moment we arrived at the apartment, we were greeted by the stunning views from the balcony. As well as being beautiully decorated, we also found the facilties very good. Including the fact that the kitchen has some store cupboard items. A lovely touch was the bottle of prosecco in the fridge. We found the owner Clare very friendly and helpful. We received informative arrival instuctions before we arrived, and also information on events happening in Wengen. This beautiful Chalet is in a stunning location and an excellent base for fantastic hikes in the area. We would most certainly stay at Chalet Aberot again.

The best stay we have ever had.

Positiv: The views were amazing! The place was clean and comfortable and Clare was an amazing host!

Negativ: Absolutely nothing!

Wonderful stay!!

Positiv: Clare was a very gracious host and the chalet has all of the amenities you could want (espresso/coffee, tea, dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer, fridge (and freezer with ice cube tray!). The views are magical and although the train runs right below the deck, we didn't even notice it after awhile and couldn't hear it in the bedroom while sleeping. We felt so at home that we ate in most nights as the views couldn't be beat! It's jsut a short walk from the train station and main street/grocery/bakery/tourist info office. Thank you, Clare, for a most wonderful and relaxing stay!

This stay was the highlight of our Switzerland trip!

Positiv: The view from this apartment is absolutely incredible. It's right on the edge of Wengen, so there are no buildings blocking the view. The location was pretty convenient, and the apartment was spacious with a fully stocked kitchen. It was great to be able to prepare our own breakfast and dinner--there's a Coop grocery story right by the train station.

Negativ: One reason we booked this was for laundry, but it's worth knowing that the laundry machine is extremely small, so it's better to do loads as you go rather than wait till the end of your stay. Also, we found that the dryer didn't really work, so don't plan to do laundry right at the end. There was a rack to hang clothes to dry, which was very helpful; you just need to plan the time for that in advance.
