Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Positiv: Das Studio ist zentral gelegen und vom Bahnhof aus gut erreichbar. Es ist gepflegt, sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Die Schlüsselübergabe war unkompliziert und die Vermieterin ist sehr gastfreundlich.

Positiv: Super Clean, accessible, comfortable bed, had enough storage, had all the necessities- fully functional kitchen & bathroom. The hostess was super sweet and helpful. Available to answer questions and swing by with extra toilet paper etc.

Negativ: The shower is a squeeze even for a lean person. We missed having the microwave and had to spend time reheating on the stove.

Positiv: Wonderful view. Perfectly comfortable,warm and well equipped studio. Vreni was helpful showing us how to use the communal laundry facilities.

Negativ: I worried about the payment not going through booking.com and was relieved the booking was as it should be and that Vreni is Indeed a real person.🤔 Now I am reassured I will be recommending this apartment to friend's.

Loved our stay and we would definitely book again!

Positiv: Lovely space and not far from the train station plus a lovely touch with a welcome bottle of wine, Toblerone and sweets on arrival.

Negativ: The only thing missing for us, and it wouldn't stop us from staying again but it would be great to have a ski boot dryer.

Positiv: Location, cleanliness, organization, view, kitchen, the little local welcoming presents, comfort

Negativ: I would add a microwave oven, some more hooks in the bathroom. For international travelers the pillows might be too soft, so I would put at least pne rigid pillow. I didn’t like to have to think about taking the bed sheets off before departure because travelers might no have the time. Also, on the same note, I would like to have recycling bins on the balcony and the landlord brings them to the recycling facility.

Positiv: It was a great apartment with everything you need. Our Australian dollar doesn't go very far in switzerland, so we were able to save money by cooking in the kitchen. The TV is a smart TV, so when the thunderstorms hit, we were able to stream prime from my aussie account while watching the rain and lightning across the valley. Everything you need is walking distance. There is an umbrella available for use and an iron and ironing board. The complementary Toblerone and botttled water with the matterhorn shaped into the base of the bottle was also a pleasant touch.

Negativ: So far, I haven't found a pillow I like in any swiss accommodation. The pillows pancake flat after 20 minutes and offer no support, even when folded in half. The laundry room can not be used whenever you want. You need to get the landlord to swipe an electronic key to start operation, and you have to put your name down to reserve time. It felt awkard asking the landlord to do this for us at 9pm for a wash and 10pm for the dryer. The landlord was happy to do this for us, but I felt a little uncomfortable given the late hour. Also, you are required to pay for the apartment via bank transfer to confirm the booking. As Australian accounts can not transfer easily to IBAN accounts, I had to physically go into my bank to arrange a transfer. It cost $30 for my bank to process the transfer, and i had to complete a two page security questionnaire to show this wasn't a scam. When the transfer went through, the landlord said that we were short 12CHF, so it looks like the swiss bank also took out fees. Also, be aware there is no microwave, so choose food appropriately.

Great Value and Convenience Near Train Station!

Positiv: I really appreciated the value of my stay in relation to the location and proximity to the Zermatt train station. Very convenient! I was very happy with the complete kitchen. I appreciated being able to cook all of my meals while staying in Zermatt.

Negativ: One issue I had was the stairwell leading up to the apartment unit. The light turns on based on movement, but the sensor is only at the bottom floor hallway, so when I go out to exit the unit, it is complete darkness, and very hard to see. It would be great if more motion sensors for the stairwell light could be placed in the stairwell.
