Apartment Gloria Sud was a very special, comfortable and memorable place for our group

Positiv: It was very close to the train station, but high enough that you didn't notice it or trains. The view of the mountains from the large windows and balcony was fantastic. The apartment was spacious, clean, well-appointed and maintained.

Negativ: The road to the apartment was a little steep. Definitely got our hearts pumping. The grocery store in Murren was a little far to easily carry groceries, but the one by the bottom of the gondola in Lauterbrunnen was convenient for return trips from the valley.

Positiv: Location was very close to the BLM train station but up a steep hill. The view was incredible on the front porches. The apartment was one of the cleanest rental properties I have ever stayed at. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. Water was hot and great pressure in both the bathrooms.

Negativ: The apartment is up a steep hill - this is to be expected in Murren as the town is built into a hillside - but something to be aware of if you have mobility issues. The mattresses and pillows were average compared to the rest of the house. We never got a response from the host via WhatsApp when we tried to communicate with them. Email worked though. The listing said there was laundry. We assumed this meant in the apartment. No - it is referring to a laundromat down the hill at a hotel which is a 10-minute walk away! No one has time for that on vacation. On top of that, the laundromat was closed because the hotel was closed for the season for renovations. This was disappointing because we packed our suitcases with the assumption that we could reuse certain items.

It was wonderful!

Positiv: Everything was great! Everything was clean. The beds were comfortable. It had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Beautiful Mountain View’s out the windows.
