The perfect apartment in the perfect location

Positiv: A great 2-bedroom apartment in the heart of Interlaken. The apartment was well appointed, clean, and Juliet the owner was very helpful and responsive to questions. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Interlaken.

If you’re looking for a convenient location, look no further!

Positiv: The proximity to the train station, unbeatable! The house was big and clean and had all the amenities you’d need for a Comfortable stay. It was on the ground floor so that was great as they didn’t have an elevator.

Negativ: The windows were not soundproof so having an uninterrupted sleep might be challenging for light sleepers as you get woken up by people talking/ walking in the streets and cars/ trucks zooming past. The laundry room is in the basement and all the way to the end of the corridor. Just a washing machine, no dryer. To note for those planning to do their laundry while travelling.

Positiv: Prime Location very near to the Interlaken West Bus & train station. Short walk to all shops & loads of restauraunts. Walked to Interlaken ost in 25 minutes. Very clean, all utilities present & working and the star of it all is that its all airconditioned ! Which is very welcome as in peak summer it gets very hot. Nespresso machine provided as well as Cafetiere's & kettle. Very responsive and friendly host. There was one incident where Electricity tripped / went out and as soon as it was brought to their attention they got it fixed within 15 minutes. Amazing service !

Positiv: What did we liked - 1) Location - perfect both Interlaken West station is within 10 meters and groceries MIGROS less than 100 m. I travelled with my elderly parents and location of the flat was a boon 2) Size - Perfect for up to 6 adults with full beds (included 1 bunk bed), all rooms very big and it has balcony where you can relax in evening sipping a beer and seeing mountains & trains 3) Property Cleanliness - Very good 4) Property Manager - Juliette - Excellent & Prompt Service, she was very courteous 5) TV Excellent - Both Netflix & Amazon Prime was there so you can have excellent evening after whole day of roaming 6) Wifi is excellent 7) Good Parking space 8) Kitchen - Fully Equipped

Negativ: 2 Things that can be improved - 1) Whilst property is at excellent location, it also means it is close to road and unfortunately double glazing windows are not good enough to restrict vehicle noise. So if you are a person who needs less noise to sleep, there will be bit of struggle. We didn't know about this but still managed it as for us location was extremely important 2) This is not flat issue but the municipal dustbin is kept very close to entrance, hence even though it is closed, there is a foul smell when exiting & entering the flat. I suggest a discussion with municipal to get it farther from entry & exit
